Speakers Bureau

Third Goal: “Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans”

The Speakers Bureau aims to address the Third Goal of Peace Corps in a very personal and yet, impactful way by employing volunteer RPCV speakers to schools and organizations, who have requested them.

Some activities of past speakers include:

  • Poster sessions with the Girls Scout of America
  • Participation on panels with specific topics (clean water solutions, innovations in Africa, etc.)
  • Speaking to a class about international legal rights
  • Discussing cultural differences with high school civic organizations
  • Discussing the political landscape of countries with an adult education class
  •
